Controlled burn at CCC?

Rode CCC this morning and looks like there was a fire. Possibly a controlled burn. There was also trenching for fire stops in places that are trails and across several trails. See the cell pics. I rode there last Saturday and all was good, so it happened during the week.

Did see a guy with a bow saw and rake. He was raking transitions to get back onto the existing trails from the trenches. There were alot of exposed roots that needed trimming and small trees that were collateral damage across the trails. He said he rode Thurs night and it was already tore up.

Wow that sucks, they had that trenching near the edge of the woods that's been there for awhile. Very frustrating, won't be able to even walk back there until 12/2.
Must've been Tuesday, Monday all was normal.

after talking to the Forrest Service today, they assured me that they haven't done any controlled burns, every fire has been arson
