Commuting

Need more of this, we should get together with other commuters for group ride in like those evening rides. I will be interested in your loop you got around the hood jimmy. Do you drop down to the river on that loop?

Yes, it drops down to the river. At the end there is a nice long climb. It is my typical 1hr loop. You can go down further on 9W to make it a 2 + infinity hour loop.

We should try to do say every thursday early and put some miles/time in. You/anybody game?

I am also good for fridays after work will bring proper bike doe.

If we can set 1 day a week like that, the likelihood I will make it is higher (I think. We will see.) How about Wednesday mornings since jmanic seems to be free that day?

This Friday, meet on Fort Lee side of GWB .. Time?!

Evenings would probably be tough for me to join in- don't I work later than you Matt? I usually get to the bridge around 6pm or so.

I would be game for getting a weekly pre work ride going, Wednesdays or Thursdays work for me.

This Friday is a no go for me, I have a late afternoon appointment at TBW to get fitted on my new ride.

I am back to your house by 4 30 for friday need to drop off my bag or i can park at terrace lot actually.

Wednesdays am good ah so tomorrow?

Tomorrow works for me. Whats the plan? Hitting Henry Hudson Drive in the morning might be rough unless we go real early. Meeting at Overpeck or the bridge and doing a few laps of Central Park might make more sense in the AM.

I must skip tomorrow AM, but will start joining next Wed AM.

And in for Friday post-work. We will work out logistics.

I'll join you guys and meet up at the bridge-
What time do you hit the bridge?

No worries, hope you didn't wait to long to see if we showed up. We waited around for a few but had to keep moving because cold. We were uncharacteristically like clockwork today. I was even a few minutes early to the park, I'm generally always good for being a few minutes late.

It was ncie to get an extra lap in at Central Park but man my legs were rebelling this morning. I've only jumped on the bike a few times since early Decemeber and man I am really feeling it

Nah- I gave up after 3-4 minutes figuring I had missed the boat.
I wasn't certain what my actual ride time to the bridge was,
so I took my best guess and guessed wrong I guess.
I'll have it calibrated for next week.

What i realized is commuting in with friends makes it so much more tolerable. Thanks for the company Chris. Very crisp morning and nice loop of the Park.

Liongs GC from clifton has me thinking. As of next Wednesday I would to do that loop Jimmy has of about an hour then shoot into NYC.

Met up with soundz at his house this am to have him show me his local loop. Really enjoyed it and will be part of the wednesday am group ride. Had wheels down at 5:45 and made it to the job with time to spare. Hudson drive was awesome though a little spooky, though cool in way where it was peaceful. Across the river its all lite up with a great view of the crescent moon over the bronx.

soundz rode?

i have to get a road or cross bike again, this time one that actually fits. but first i have to get a seat on my bike.

Yeah i was hoping to see that fancy custom frame he got but he said its still in bed. Apparently he has been sleeping with it 😀
