hey guys, I have a question about coil springs. my spare bike was a resuce bike that some one was going to throw out. i fixed it up but it need a new fork, so i went to the lbs and got a no name cheap fork. it was fine and i would lend it out to friends that wanted to go riding but didnt have a bike. i need the bike for a while, my fisher was in the shop, i noticed that the fork gave alot. i installed the RST fork that came off the fisher and it helped out alot. i was wondering if i could get new springs for the fork. it is a RST capa T6. i know that it is a cheap fork but i have already put more money than i wanted to in this bike. buying a new fork is out of the question. it is only a spare bike.

Not sure if you can find the replacement spring for these (didn't see any on a quick Froogle search), but either way, I don't think it's worth it. If you take $$ on replacement spring, shipping and time to install (i've replaced springs on a couple of Rockshox and while straight forward, it's time consuming), as well as any replacement oil you may need, it's just not worth it for a pretty low quality fork. Would leave as is, FWIW.
