Coffee! It's all the same color but...

Let's see your coffee standards. Are you a 7-11, DD or Starbucks type? Cold press, French press or slow press? Espresso, cappuccino or latte? Let's see what you got.

My current setup is about the most simple. A Capresso 5 cup pot with auto start so I can go from my bed to my truck in under 5 minutes. As much as I used to enjoy DD with 2 Sweet n Low and cream, it's all black for me now. Last night I was talking with a neighbor and they said about 10 years ago a slow drip(overnight) came out and it was the best coffee he had ever had. He compared it to a coffee version of Guinness.

I love making coffee and espresso at home because I can get the best flavor from the particular brew. My brand of choice is Lavazza and a few Italian brand that are not easily accessible.

Dunkin’ is just coffee flavored water and Starbucks is hands down the worst chain coffee IMHO, overpriced RUBBISH. I drink my coffee black with no sugar. McDonalds, Quick Check, WaWa, and 711 is my fine by me when I can’t make it at home.

I don't use the Moka pot much anymore, because I don't like cleaning it.

In retrospect, it doesn't take much more time than cleaning the French Press, so...

I'm deep down the speciality coffee rabbit hole at home (multiple grinders, locally roasted beans, V60 and an espresso machine), but I'll drink coffee from anywhere for the most part. I like Wawa's Columbian blend, and Dunkin and Starbucks are serviceable coffee. I don't go out of my way for em but I'll stop when I'm traveling.

Our go to during the week when I don't feel like waking the house with the grinder.
I grind the night before because of exactly that reason.

My wife's mom is watching our house while we're away and when she stayed with us 6 months ago the grinder & pour-over was way too complicated for them so I bought a $20 drip coffee maker off Amazon for her.

I gotta say, it was damn easy when I walked into the kitchen this morning and pressed the ON button and then 15 minutes later she walked into the kitchen and her coffee was ready for her.

Anyone that has traveled with me has probably seen me put instant coffee into a cup and then get warm water from the tap. But when I'm home, I'm more fancy and get hot water from the Keurig instead.

I do grind the night before sometimes. Our coffee maker has a programmable time to start in the morning. Just too lazy to grind at night sometimes too.

Multiple ways to make coffee in our house as well. Besides the daily Cuisinart, there's a French press, Chemex pour over, and a single Keurig unit. There's another Mr. Coffee model that goes camping when we have shore power.

Kirkland Columbian or Eight O-Clock bean are my go to coffee's. The Braun auto drip is my weekday maker, French press on weekends. Mc Donald's or Dunkin are the only other take out coffee's I'll get. You couldn't pay me to drink Starbuck$ burnt crap. I still can't understand why people actually drink that and call it coffee, it's burnt mud water.
