Rode the bike today. Lead out a middle school xc meet at Pingry. Left my phone in my pocket, otherwise I'd be blowing-up the car spotting thread!
At the homestead, I have ground bees
They are very busy asshole bees. I ran them over with the mower the other day. I was doing 10+ mph so not a problem.
Anyway, should be history by tomorrow night cause proper counter measures
This stuff is nasty. If you have any skin contact you are supposed to wash it for 15 minutes and call poison control...

No biking, but did see a couple going up at the visitor center. They were 5 hours into the climb with two to go.
Almost got run over today - I'm in a crosswalk, front blinky light,
a cab pulls up in the right turn lane, I see him looking left, and I can tell
he isn't looking back to the right before he goes - i'm dead center of his hood if I don't do something,
abandoned the cross walk, and get on the gas, to get a few extra feet of space,
somehow managed to get the front tire on the curb, and cased the back pretty hard.
he missed me, and I have no idea how.
I ended up in the bushes on the other side of the sidewalk, cause I wasn't really concerned about braking at that point,,
at least he stopped - I told him to f-off. would have killed a kid in that situation.
got a nice wobble in the wheel now. i'll take it vs tacoing my leg.
