Chimney Rock Conditions

Yellow trail is now yellow, green, and pink? 🤔
I guess it’s the pink trail, very close to McBride Rock, tree down that probably needs a chain saw.
And thanks for the trim on white connector from the reservoir to the road.

Same tree? Might be this tree / location

I admit I don’t know these newfangled trail colors.
When you come to the top of yellow at the cul de sac, you will find green at the right corner as you leave it. Pink extends off of green, I think it's also part of the switchbacks leading up from High Tech (black) above Voseller. Possibly. I know them by sight at least lol

Did most of it yesterday afternoon. Conditions approaching primo. Upper blue was almost mud free, just some squishy spots. Noticed some improvements like that one stream crossing that is washed out near the top. White was also almost completely dry and the recent trimming work is notable and appreciated.

Just got a bit of rain early this am in Bridgewater but I have a feeling it should dry out quickly if we get more sunny, 80 degree temps today.

Yes, the weed-wacking was terrific, so thank you for that.

Hiked yellow this evening. Was in good shape despite the brief rain storm that hit Bridgewater early Thursday. Should be rideable Saturday.

We rode tonight. Mostly fine but a few more standing puddles than expected. It’s fine for the weekend.

Was away this weekend so don’t know how much it rained here but rode all of white and most of red today and aside from a couple of small standing water spots on white it was pretty perfect.

Sweet. Glad it dried out more. Was there Sunday evening and red was still mushy. I might play hooky from work tomorrow afternoon to do the whole park.
