Chimney Rock Conditions

Yellow and orange were completely rideable. Red was where I got the most covered in mud. Shoes and shins. I would go back tomorrow. Snowing at the hawk watch.

The new reroute on yellow rode awesome. @Kirt. Thanks

Yeah idk I rode there Sunday in the confusing wind/snow squall/sun whatever that was: I guess the only thing I could say was excellent was the yellow (green now??) high tech section I don’t know the names of this stuff. That was great. The rest - orange, red, would go from awesome to mud and I felt uncomfortable being there.
That was Sunday so i have no idea now.
I didn’t do white or blue.

Rode with my sister this evening. Came down blue from old Tullo, crossed over and did all of red. Couple muddy sections but no dabs or regrets.

Any updates? Trying to decide what bike to bring to work. I did take my road bike off the trainer already.

Wild guess, but I would suspect it's almost there but could user another day or 2. Things are drying up nicely but I still see the hillside draining water onto the road around our house, which tells me there still lots of water in the ground.

I imagine it would be great in some spots and terrible in others.

Great guess… Ballfield loop wasn’t bad, yellow was spotty - some parts were great, some still had standing water - the new parts on yellow were great. Orange wasn’t bad, a few of the common muddy spots, but overall not bad.
Didn’t get there early enough to ride red/white or blue.

Definitely rideable though.

Anyone know what happened down Miller Ln? My sister lives over there said there was some major police presence and a bunch of Hazmat suits.

Did it all today. Soft and wet in the usual spots but mostly dry every where else. White was better than expected, nearly mud free. Back and lower blue are still a shitfest which is no surprise. Curiosity got the better of me but I should have known better. Come and get it.
