Chimney Rock Conditions

Despite some brief rain last evening in Bridgewater, CR was surprisingly dry this am. Not a trace of moisture. Maybe the park dodged yesterday's scattered showers.

Tree down on yellow - couple hundred yards southeast of miller ln.
I was going to go back and clear it after riding, but got a txt from the wife to pick stuff up.

kinda iun the middle of this pic below miller.

Was over there today doing some trimming and trails we’re surprisingly much drier than anticipated, considering how hard it seem to rain overnight. Tomorrow should be good to go.

Rode red and blue yesterday evening, great condition, also surprised how good considering the rain.

Downed tree on blue, easy enough to hop over, was losing light quick so couldn't stop to see if could be easily moved or not.

Did a quick ride of blue/red. The tree on blue cleared, wasn't much.

Top of red has much larger object that I wasn't equipped to deal with.

Both trails in ideal condition tho.

Considering the wind and rain that blew thru here yesterday, could hardly tell on the trails. Red no impact. Blue had a good number of medium-sized dead branches down but nothing so big it needed tools or more than one person.

Only referring to the parts I hit of course:

Hit it all this am. Primo conditions. Thursday's downpours recharged the soil with some needed moisture but pretty near zero mud or puddles.

Saw another lost dog wandering around at about 8am near the 4 way on yellow. On the small size and brown. Almost ran the little fucker over when he darted out into the trail.
