Car-spotting thread

I took a tour of the storage vault at the Peterson museum. Holy fuck shit. No photos allowed. Trying to remember some of the craziest.
Shelby's Scaglietti Corvette
52 Ferrari 212 Barchetta
Porsche 901, Porsche Continental
I'll think of more.

Oh a gold plated deloreon with 9 miles on it
One off round door rolls royce
Toyota 2000 gt
Two 'ol yellers'
Nancy Sinatra's 65 custom abortion mustang
John Force's last mustang bodied car, and one of his early mustangs. It was the gap between gasser and funny cars. I think it was called the gasser.
Bunch of famous limos and a brand new popemobile

So many more.

Joe had it shipped to Sharkwerks. Here’s Magnus Walker give it the thumbs up.

Damn that's rad. I know Joe had a longnose he was planning on doing a hot rod out of but I think the sharkwerks guys talked him out of it for something a little safer.

He doesn't talk about his cars really at all so you have to listen to what his guests mention. That's the only way I know i knew he had an Icon Bronco.

Well and he brought his stingray on Leno's garage.

I was hammering through Angeles Crest in the Porsche and a fuckin Arial Atom came up behind me like I was driving Mrs Daisy. Let him pass and tried to keep up. Within three turns I couldn't see him. Wife too shakey video. It's was absolutely unbelievable. I had the chills for 15 minutes.
It didn't even sound like he was getting on it. 20171229_122525.jpg20171229_122726.jpg20171229_115316.jpg

Corvairs were an economy car in the heyday of the gas guzzler. Underrated. View attachment 61283
That v8 mid engine conversation kit for the coupe is a dream of mine. I forget what it's called, crown corvair? Posting from dial up or I'd search.
I think corvairs are some of the best looking cars of that era. Muscle cars don't do it for me.

That one looks like a Olds Toronado drive train. I think it was a company called Crown that did small block conversions. Imagine one with an LS engine?
