Car-spotting thread

These two were parked at Foreign Cars of Monmouth this morning. They work on absolutely everything as far as I can tell.

The Ferrari has been there for months. My friend Drew works there and told me a few painful things about them. The steering mechanism has some kind of subframe with a couple balljoints in it which are NLA. There is ONE shop in the US that has a process to machine out the existing ones and retrofit something modern but you have to send them your subframe because there are no cores to do an exchange. Another fun one is a rubber coolant line in the front of the engine that bridges a gap so small that the only way to replace it is to pull the entire engine and remove the parts that it connects.

I had them (well, Drew) do some work for me while I was working on the Ferrari and didn't want to be bothered. I think I spent about as much as I 'saved' doing my own work on the 360. 🙂 The upside is that Drew is meticulous and knew things to look for on my wife's MINI that I would never have known (engine mount dies early, rear brakes wear out first).
