That woven seat fabric will be a dust and dirt collector. Should have gone with smooth leather. SMH.This guy opted to add the back seats back in his build, but my front seats and stitching will look identical.

Is that an abandoned warehouse?
No. Dave is having each part shipped to him to clean, shrink wrap and send back for assembly. The car will actually cost him $632k when shipping costs are factored in.So they send you the parts and have to assemble? Porsche - the Ikea of auto companies.
No. Dave is having each part shipped to him to inspect and either accept or reject. They get removed after painting so they don't get damaged while other components get installed and meet up with the rest of the chassis later down the line. Saw it on How it's Made LOLBTW, is the 2nd picture with the front fenders off, that were on in the 1st picture? Or they are just sending random green 911 pictures?? 😛

oh ya, they dont have unions in Stuttgart 😄Looks like a protective pad on the fenders. To keep any UAW employee who happens to be visiting from fucking up my car.
Are they sending you build pictures as part of some special package you ordered with the car? Or does Porsche do this with everyone that special-orders cars? Pretty awesome to see documentation of your car being built. These pics are clearly not real time. It's all married up with the drivetrain and suspension now and headed down the elevator for QC testing. Imagine that....QC. So far the delivery date is holding at 5/10.
