We have a place out that way and I heard the same thing all day Saturday. Even had one guy in a 335xi pass me on a county road only to decelerate just so could “impress” me with his ridiculous snap crackle pop exhaust. I’m ok with a well sorted low burble but the Rice Krispie exhaust notes…🙄

Much like other stupid car trends.....you figure this started with rally racing and the anti lag system..... Which has a purpose... This is just a tuner intentionally making a car run shitty when you lift off the throttle.... I can't imagine unburnt fuel running thru and exploding in your exhaust is very good for the life of your cats, but whatever.... Doesn't even sound good, like Jesus when did this become a cool sound?
