Not sure if this belongs here or in bad driving thread. Huge Supercar drive heading down GSP today. At least a dozen each of Ferraris, Lambo’s and MacLarens. A few 911’s (didn’t see a green one @Carson ) one Vette and a 4 door sedan covered in GoPros. All attempting to do triple digits in Sunday beach traffic.

25k miles is about the end of its life though. VAG group.
I believe I read that for now even the new threatened tariffs have an exemption for cars. But that probably has changed.

I mean if you are going to spend the money to restore that car....Like I would THINK you toss the old low compression 400 parts in the trash and build a proper 400....which was a good motor and can make a ton of power....just not hamstrung by 1977 emissions.

I have no idea if its true or not since I was riding by on my bike but it certainly did not sound like a stock TA. and it was manual trans.
After I gave the thumbs up I got a beep and an engine rev. ;-)
