Stopping at the Porsche repair place in Long valley is almost cheating but it’s like 300 feet from the Columbia trail crossing and I spotted this VW repair van thing so I had to pedal over and snap some pics.

His lot was overflowing today I guess a lot of people need repairs or tune ups for the nice weather.

Rindock is now Chief. Solid guy. Insabella retired after they made a Director following a few lawsuits filed. All new leadership now. Chief and two lieutenants. Old guard is gone. Donaruma, Insabella, DeWire, HooFat, Carr all retired.

It drives me batshit crazy that dealerships use handicapped spots for deliveries, parking, etc. I mean you paid to line out the lot, make some delivery spots, you morons.

while i agree, we all know that there would always be entitled pricks parking in those spots to shop bc there is no legal ramification to not doing so.

There absolutely can be a legal ramification. Someone just needs to make the call.

Valets using them, too, goes up my ass. I had an argument at Char one night with the valet as he had parked his personal car in the handicapped spot. After some discussion, it was moved. Don't be a lazy piece of shit.

best part is pulling up in the Yukon, using my wife's mirror tag, 5 healthy adults jump out - we get the look,
then my wife comes limping out - but her hitch is starting to smooth out - and we only have 3 years left!
(she still isn't fast enough to cross a street - I think that is one of the factors)

Probably around 30 years ago my friend John was taking his mom to the mall who was in a wheelchair, he saw a man get out of his car in HC parking spot. He asks the man to move his car BC his mom was in a wheelchair. The man said, no. John said, I will move for it you the man got into his face John hit him with a punch the man moved the car. Did I mention he was a golden glove boxer when we were in HS. This would not happen now BC of lawsuits and other complications. Just reminded me of a story. Just don't park in a HC spot be thankful you can walk.
