Car-spotting thread

Yeah but in most of jersey you'll end up in jail. Pellet rifle much more discreet. The drowning thing mentioned above seems cruel.
I can't do the drowning thing, I believe more in one shot one kill. Get a decent pellet gun with a good scope rated for pellet use. The piston operated ones are good, but don't get an overly powerful one. The recoil impulse makes them difficult to be accurate with. Basically, the piston is causing recoil before the pellet even leaves the chamber.

After two tries, the Maverick is back in service.

After the first try, I was able to jiggle the headlight harness and get the headlight to turn on and off without the ignition on. The tape job was also terrible. I undoubtedly would have had issues with battery drain or water intrusion down the road.

I got the service manager and shop foreman involved, showed them my concerns. The shop foreman actually looked annoyed at the work done and told me he would personally redo the the wiring. I asked the service manager for a complimentary oil change for my troubles. You would of thought I asked for a free transmission replacement.

The wiring now looks great, factory fabric tape covered everything. The foreman said there was no ECU wires at issue, so he feels confident that the repair will be a permanent fix. Time will tell. He did change the oil, too.

Peppermint oil sprayed on the wiring, 4 squirrels eliminated. Not much more I can do. I haven't seen a squirrel since getting #4. And the neighborhood fox has been eating well. All the carcases are gone by the next morning.

$933 after tax and the 4th pig tail they needed.

hey ill take what i can get at this point my truck is so crusty even the 3 yo child is complaining about it.

think you need some sort of warning on this so @Carson doesnt have a stroke.
Park your truck outside tonight, good wind-driven rain, free wash! If you're extra motivated, turn it around half-way through so all sides get washed equal. And Carson would definitely not approve of my particular vehicle and the filthy condition that its in.

the truck is always parked outside, so i guess we will see how mother nature does with her free car wash.

A little acid in the rain from all of your dirty trucks emissions should help take out some of those tough stains. Circle of life.

Ya'll need to stop worrying about what I think of ya'll.
When I take it in for service, the car wash guys need to earn their keep. Plus that's the point of Expel and PPF anyway, right? I got it so I can put it away dirty and it cleans right up with a little spritz of Reset.
