Car-spotting thread

Took the kids for one last beach day today, and there must have been a Toyota meet down near Wildwood. I saw 2 4th gen Supras on 287 heading the to Parkway, and another 4th Gen and a 5th Gen on the Parkway when I was coming home this evening. No pics, cause driving.
 
I think the annual VW meet up is back this weekend in my area at the Flanders swim club property. saw a bunch cruising around this morning and caught these heading in that direction.

I don't understand this. You basically removed the parts that make a Porsche a Porsche, and replaced it with something slower and less involving? Kind of like replacing the contents of my Weller 12 bottle with iced tea.

Yeah. I have a friend who owns a company that works in the ev industry. He also owns a fully restored 10 second 68 Firebird. His next project is converting an identical Firebird to electric. Just because he can.
