The local trails were too wet to ride again today so I went for a hike instead.The local trails were too wet to ride today so did some off-trail exploring on foot instead and discovered this :
I first "discovered" this abandoned car 15-20 years ago and had not revisited it since, things have got more overgrown now.
Interestingly, looking at Strava satellite map I could see both this one and the white Audi, at opposite ends of the park.

College buddy was dating a wall streeter's daughter. We were invited up to the cottage in East Hampton.
We left her place in Battery Park City. Disappointed that we didn't get to fly in the helicopter.
College wardrobe was not cutting it...

Today we are doing the North Fork out to Orient Point to see where Lyme disease "started" on Shelter Island, then a winery in Mattituck.

Good thing you had your backup to your backup suv for the snow since the new backup doesn’t have 4WD and the main SUV with 4WD doesn’t leave the garage
And I give you our hooptie for the week
We had reserved a midsized suv, but then were told it would be a half hour to wait for one at pick up.
We were offered a full sized car or this compact suv if we didn’t want to wait.
Looking at it from the front (and 50 yards away), this looked totally reasonable.
It is not by any standard.
if Shriners drove SUVs.
Note the complete lack of leg and cargo room. Lol
Fortunately we don’t need a ton of space, so it’s fine, but this thing is a joke.
