It is a beautiful friday, keep those cameras handy!

Stopped by to drop off some parts to the guys at the body shop...saw that this just showed up

I love those 427 vettes... I like 66 the best... Of course 67 is the most sought after and 68 and 69 are just mean. Growing up, my best friend's father had a 69 under a cover in the garage. We'd walk pass it a million times and never realize what it was. Then, our senior year, he takes the cover off and puts a for sale sign on it and sold it for 8k. I wanted to buy it but he told me he didn't want to be responsible for me killing myself in it.

Yeah my high school friend's cousin had a 68 427 vette. He claimed the real HP was well north of 450!

Funny thing I didn't realize about vettes until recently... After 1967, there are very few that are big money valuable. This one in great shape might bring 50k. Which is good money, but any run of the mill 327 c2 would bring that easily. After 70-71, really very few vettes that are worth anything of note. But I guess that's fair to say about most American cars.

There is something about those older fiberglass big block four speed cars that is SO raw to drive. Literally feels so unrefined, touque monster, brute strength blowing through those gears and everything else if twisting and creaking. Love the rawness of those old cars. Old Hemi cars have that similar feel.

Don't get me wrong, I like a high reving small block, once saw an old small block vette street car with a real nice blue paint job at RR Park and that bitch sounded like he was shifting at 10k+... I was sitting there with my dad and just watching cars run and then this thing launches and you'd hear the motor rev up and you'd expect it to shift at the predictable rpm based on the sound but this son-bitch kept going and at the same time, me and my dad looked at each and said "HOLY SHIT" and laughed in amazement as it tore ass down the rest of the strip. Good times...

😱so mad I couldn't get closer to the f12 berlinneta that just went through Hillsborough. 206 southbound. Pearl white. First time seeing one in person. Barely, just the rear.

Brits on the Beach car show Saturday in Ocean Grove.

Check sticker price on Bentley SUV. Think I'll order two.
