A few from last night at the Milltown Home Depot cruise night.
Trio of Vettes,

Nice stance though, and the torque thrust wheels set it off nice63B60924-D798-4BF5-B565-F2F4DD406751.jpeg’64 Vette with a ‘67 BB hood. Nice driver82DA8EC6-82CD-4159-BC7F-C156827F3458.jpeg

Next door to the AirBnB I'm staying in in West Asheville is this doubledecker bus in a guy's driveway. Wins the weirdest car in the driveway award and I've seen a lot this weekend down here.

Ran into a car show down in Hendersonville with the other cars. FactoryFive Ford 34? that I've never seen in person. The guy did a great job having the old rat-rod patina going on the parts.

@MissJR did a great job pointing out the difference between the grille of the '64 Falcon and the 65 Falcon grill on the wall above our couch.

Also obvious at the car show that Ford made a million 65/66 Mustang. Because half of them were at the show.

While sitting in a cafe eating breakfast in Carlisle on Friday we saw 40 or so Monte Carlos go by. Heading to GM Nationals.

I kind of liked it, and very briefly thought about it, until I realized the hybrid is only FWD. Need to upgrade to the other engine option and then also add AWD.

that bus is an odd one.

i LOVE the body design of the early 70's Monte Carlo even better than the 73-77 design. I had a 77 in college that got me in a lot of trouble and saw me waste a lot of $$ trying to make it fast.

January 2020, I took my friend to Classic Coach in Elizabeth to check-in on his 512, which was getting an engine out service with timing belts and a bunch of things.

He picked it up this past Friday (!). At some point, they discovered 1/2 the pistons from an old rebuild were the wrong ones, preventing setting the cam timing properly. It took a year to get new pistons! The car spent the pandemic at the shop.

It's always a pleasure. So many awesome cars. We laughed later when John mentioned the 288 GTO was gone. "Nope, it was on the lift next to the F50". "I didn't even see it. There's just so much to take in!" One thing that always strikes me when I'm there is how calm it is. Everyone quietly working on their immediate project. No rushing. We were there for over an hour just wandering around/going over the car. The tech spend 20 minutes going through pictures of the work he had done.

Brought my 13yo daughter this time. She loved it.

SF90. I think the white lettering on the tires is the owner's name. Sigh.

This Daytona is so nice. No idea what the story is. It's been there for at least two years.

Picture dump from yesterdays travels back from my ride.

Originally I saw the blue Audi and liked the color but then saw the Lexus LFA?

On 80 saw these bright LED headlights in the rear view closing fast behind me and snapped this Supra zipping by.

Then the Honda Wing ding guy could not decide which illegal left turn he wanted to make and nearly caused an accident with oncoming traffic.

That place is cool. I was there several years ago. There were 4 F40s there.

This showed up in my driveway yesterday
Is the owners name Tony by any chance? Looks like slicks on the back and I know he tracks his car. Good guy.
