Car-spotting thread

So the M2 is gone. I listed it high and got my asking in 2 days. I guess not high enough? We did a PPI at Paul Miller Porsche and the mechanic said to the buyer, "If you don't buy it, I might. It's the cleanest M car I have seen.". I had it 47 months. That's an eternity for me!

And dude man paid all that cash, or was that a stock photo?

Congrats on getting top dollar.

Waiting until spring for the new drive? I guess no more cruises this year 😞

Hey a first in today's ride - got my first thumbs down from a douchebag driving a vette. Vette owners really are dicks, aren't they (@GSTim 😛). Good ol' stinkin new jersey! Black C6 at 9 o'clock in the turn lane - I blasted him with revs and accelerated away:

I have to say I think this is the norm with with most performance cars. All of my friends are constantly complaining about BMW drivers too. I think most people who drive fast cars only care about image and not driving at all.

Wife’s b-day today. We did a big loop out in PA checking out covered bridges, having a picnic and hiking by the river at Worlds End. We got to see 7 Bridges in all, all but 2 of them were drive-thru-able. The roads out by Eagles Mere are sweet. The north end of our route is pictured below. Rowing up/down through the gears and hardly braking was sublime. Twisty, smooth, very little traffic and the scenery, especially this time of year, is stunning. Will plan to go back to check out the auto museum there but you will not be disappointed if you give the area a go.

Real photo. It took me 15 minutes just to count the money.

Guy owns a trucking company and this is his "company vehicle". That's the most Jersey thing you'll see today.

Good time to clear the garage out, take the cash and run. Honestly, if I thought about it much longer I would not have sold it so quickly. It was the most enjoyable car I've ever owned. But, now I can figure out what I need/want for spring. The most likely plan is place a deposit on either 718 GTS 4.0 or a 2021 M2C allocation and continue looking for a GT3 I can afford (ha!) in the meantime. We shall see if this works out as smoothly as I hope.
