Forgot to mention I got smoked by a Holden SS at a red light challenge about a mile from the c&c. He had a car length in 1st gear, when I shifted to second I lost traction and he gained another length so I let up at about 75 mph. He kept accelerating!

fair, but you want a C8 with as much power as the CTS V, your going to be spending 100K.....I guess when you compare the CTS V to its competition...m5, E63, Panamera...its not as quick since it lacks AWD, the interior also screams general motors.....but its also a fuck ton cheaper....You can buy and CTSv and a new c8 for what a panemara turbo costs

But even the C8 Z51, which will be much less than the caddy, will blow it away 0-60 - under 3 secs! Plus it looks killer
ya im not saying that people will be cross shopping these cars...just saying that 100gs for this car IMO, appropriate given its competition cost 150 to 175k. its like 1200lbs heavier than a vette, were not talking apples to apples...that said whats the caddy like 3.5 i think?
0-60 is really not that important of a metric to me anyway....I mean especially in RWD cars....its really a statement about traction, transmission, computer programming at this point.
too bad they stopped making the manual wagon version...not that I could afford one, but dam that thing was awesome.

Yes, 6 speed big horsepower wagon.
Talking about this makes me miss my e39 M5, damn I loved that car.
BTW - the car looks great too. only a couple clues to that big 6.2L engine. one of the guys at the dealership mod'd his to 850+ hp with exhaust bypass.
still, w/o awd, there is little hope of getting the car to launch - but from a rolling start, zoom!
And it has a nice interior. Similar to our XT-5. Lots of electronics and screens.

Z06 fire sales happening now! Kerbeck (Atlantic city) as a understand,from friends dad that bought a c7 last yead, has the biggest corvette stock and sales in country so they discount them pretty good.
