Anyone heading out this weekend? I was planning on it but watching the storm coming in like a hawk. Would this be a decent race for a first time crosser?

Screw the storm, that looks amazing
This was a fun race last year, was also muddy then as well.
Entire first lap video
There was one short steep muddy run up, some small steps that were rideable, some open fileds, good off camber, and one smallish drop off that you could catch a little air off...... It was raining on and off most of the day I think last year.

Generally yes.
Pre-Sandy, hpcx still happened. Pre-Irene some crazy group put on an endurance mtb race at Allamuchy.
