Incredibly profound yet fantastically flawed
Anyone else watch it? This week's episode (Dead Freight) was insane! Best show on tv.
 
Yeah that show is great. I was really surprised by the ending. I wasn't sure where they were going with that intro scene, pretty crazy.
 
Oh man, the past two episodes left me with my mouth hanging open. So intense and thought provoking. My favorite show at the moment as well.
 
love this show... the dead freight episode gave me an ulcer. i still have not seen the complete 1st season though.
 
Yesterday's show was good. You know that guy who shot the kid has gotta die now. Sucks, from what I understand, this is it. The last season.
Season 1 was definately the best one,so far. Tuco Salamanca, best character.:popcorn:

They are actually splitting the last season in two -- the first eight episodes are on now, and then they'll be a break and next year they'll show the last eight. (Kind of semantics -- seems more like two eight episode seasons, but whatever.) The big question I have right now is whether that teaser scene from the first episode of the season where Walt is buying the sniper rifle is for the end of this eight episode arc (doubt it) or it's the end of the whole series (more likely, since it occurs a year from now on his 52nd birthday.)

ANd I think you can take your pick of best characters: Tuco is great, but so were the twins, Mike, Saul, Gus -- any one of them are classics. And, of course, Skinny Pete and Badger. (I love that Skinny Pete is a virtuoso pianist - such a random thing for a goofy meth head.)

i do want to watch this show now that I'm caught up with weeds.

I tried to watch the frist episode but I couldn't take the dad from malcom in the middle in underwear seriously...
I'll give it another go when I have some time though

I love it!

Such an awesome show. I watched S1-4 early this summer so I was ready for this season. Its hard to wait a week for each episode now, but its worth it.

Man, that seems like a million years ago. Believe me, you'll have trouble remembering he was even in Malcolm in the Middle by the second season. And by the fourth? You'll barely even remember what he did before becoming a dealer.
 
This definitely is one of the best shows on TV right now. my ONLY problem is that the formula for this show is the exact same as Dexter, but one sells drugs, and the other kills people...

My favorite characters are Hank and Mike. Gus was pretty awesome as well...
 
I wouldn't say it's the exact same formula, but rather they are complimentary opposites. Walt is a good guy turned bad and Dexter is a bad guy turned good. Either way, both are great shows, but it is disappointing that this is the last season for BB.

BTW, when does the new season of Dexter start? It's been tame since the Trinity cliffhanger and I'm hoping this season is going to be crazy with Debra, assuming they don't go for an easy cop out.
 
The word 'bitch' is used as an appropriate greeting in my work place. We have our own BB cult. Nothing better than the go-cart scene.
