if you mean these, think its got a weird BCD of 94, common in compact triples for road,
a compact triple makes absolutely no sense unless you have a corn cob for a cassette

pure road?

you'll never use the small ring unless running something like 11-23 in the back.
better to go 2x and add a climbing sprocket in the back - maybe 12-32, with compact 2x (34/50) in the front.
crank arm length should be adjusted to for fit (i got nothing here)

remember - consistent riding of road/hills will make the engine stronger too! being in the back for a few months is ok - you'll improve quickly, cause you want to!

Oh my fragile little mind! Lol
The 3x9 on my giant works for me right now and its not worth it to dump alot of money on. The fs i am working on, was considering 2x10 but again... I dont think its worth to dump tons of money either. Already have cranks for the fs. So its the giant i was looking to replace the cranks

Crikey! I've hit the mother load! Just came back from raiding @liong71er 's parts bin. He has parts coming out of all corners of his place.

Got most of the stuff I needed. I am just disappointed that the shopping bag didn't have "LIONG'S BICYCLE HEAVEN" printed on it. lol

i was not able to find custom shopping bags, but i understand these are very popular.

you know you're going to have to name your first born after him after this, its the secret code of cycle junkies

So how does the isis bottom bracket work? The squared tapered bottom bracket currently on my bike is a 73x122.5. The crank i will be putting on is the raceface prodigy xc. What size isis bb am I supposed to get?

I believe that the bottom bracket is matched to the crank to give you the proper chainline. My guess is that you will need a 73 x 113? I think that is the one I have.

Ah crap... I thought it was like square tapered and didn't take the BB thinking it was the wrong size.
I am afraid to go back there... I might pick up more stuff! Anyways... i forgot to take the caps so i have to go back to @liong71er 's place. We also have to discuss some finance issues.

Anyways... clipless pedals are now on the roadie and spent about 30 minutes or so clipping in and out. It was harder to clip in than to clip out. I think I will the first fool to fall while trying to clip in. The very first clip in was scary... as soon as I heard that click! my heart started pounding.... and I was even holding on to the wall. lol I am going to have to install a handle of some sort on the wall so that I can hold on to dear life. I think I am going to need to wear some thicker socks cause I think my feet shrank from yesterday. Shoes felt fine yesterday but today, it felt a bit big. Or... I might have to pay @soundz a visit. Of course... when he is better.

Damn... Crane collapsed on Worth St which is near where I work. They evacuated our builing and on my way home.

Hope no one was hurt...

I am sure everyone saw this from the news

Here are some damages to the buildings when the crane collapsed

That sucks. I've heard the crane was being used to replace a generator and/or AC unit on the roof of 60 Hudson, which is the old Western Union building that was turned into a carrier hotel (Internet hub). We have a few cabinets in that building, but we don't have to physically go there very often anymore. I miss getting paid to go in at 11pm on a Saturday night, doing five minutes of work, and then going to the Patriot for a few hours.
