Saturday is my event, Bloomfield Bike Fest - kids bike races & activities. The head of the rec dept insisted on the time slot 2-6pm. Come to find out, that's the same time slot as the town-wide little league season end BBQ - many of the kids who would attend this event will be there instead. I guess that's why the field we use was open... So, I'm scrambling to try and reach kids from out of town.
I could really use some help:
Promoting the event
- share, comment and tag people with kids on social media posts.
Collecting Obstacles
- many of the ramps we use were dismantled
Volunteering at the event
- setup/cheering/course marshaling /registration
Bring your Kids!
- it would mean a lot to me if you brought your kids to the event and participated.
