I looked a bit closer on the 365BCBS discount page, and I actually can get a discounted Edge using the USA HRM partner. I would save about $30. However, if I order through REI, I get about a $40 member dividend... so I will just order through REI. I am 95% getting the 830 plus a Varia radar.

I would go the REI route myself. Garmin stuff is hardly ever discounted and when it is it's almost always previous generation items, or items about to be a previous generation. It's why the BCBS discount was so nice, but even now they have removed a bunch of the devices (like Edge) that you can buy. Plus if you run into any issues, you have REI to back you up.

Everyone seems to love the Varia.
