Bib Shorts

I freeball when I ride. I have an old riding lawnmower seat on my bike.

Haven't you guys ever heard of riding kilts? I prefer the Balmoral or a Manley Richardson, but some of you more delicate types might prefer to go with a 5 Yard Tartan or even a fashion kilt. Depends on the look you want. Makes peeing a breeze (no pun intended). Use a brooks leather saddle with these, but go easy with the saddle butter.

Somehow I knew this thread was destined to go off kilt.

My husband likes bibs too. I could never figure out what's up with that. I used like to pull his shorts down when riding the tandem, and now I can't do that anymore when he's in bibs.

So to add to the cons or pros, depending on what you are into ... bibs = no mooning! 😉

Oh... I can't wait to talk to Art about this li'l gem of a story 🙂

I used to ride shorts, but Jason talked me into getting a pair of bibs. Can't see going back to shorts. Way comfortable, and the peeing thing isn't an issue.

Jason the MTBNJ owner?

Cause he felt ghey wearing his $100+ PI bib's and just GAVE them to me. I gladly accepted and snatched them from his hands like a crack addict begging for spare change.
