beginner ride

The last beginner ride for the season is Saturday April 24*. Meet by the trailhead. Wheels out @ 10. Helmet, common sense and copious amounts of humor (as Mr. Parts would say) is required. 😀
Figure on an 8 mile ride at a friendly conversational beginner pace where no one gets dropped. 🙂 Followed by some of us rolling off for a brisk (?) paced ride around the long loop. :getsome:

These WSF Saturday morning cartoon rides return in October.

Missed the excitement

It seems that there were some young adults illegally camping near the intersection of Smell Sour Rd and where the bike trail comes out of the woods. They even had a camp fire going. A rider spotted them and turned it into the park office. I rolled by when the "campers" were being rounded up by the park police. What was really funny was that they were not that far into the woods.

I'll be out there for the next one for sure, just need to stay away from the bar the night before. I rode the blue trail after a recommendation in the lot and loved it nice job guys.
