:hmmm: I thought of that, but how do you change a title?

As for YOU, how early do you need to get out of the woods to make your thing?
Maybe we can do a ride before the ride?

are singles welcome on this ride? (i thought i posted this last night but apparently i didnt)

im looking to get a feel for allaire since it is the closest park to my new place (unfortunately) so i promise i wont mind being slow.

Thanks Jason! Bummer we wont see you 🙁 H_BBY and I found some cool stuff we would like to show you at Allaire 😉

And YES, single riders are always welcome!

Bummer. Couldn't arrange to swap work days so a no go for me. Almost had a chance last minute, but weather wasn't looking too good by then so i nixed it. Maybe i'll hop on to help out at another somewhere down the line. Anticipate i'll catch a few of the riders at an upcoming Tuesday Allaire ride.

Small group today.
The weather was glorious if a little humid and warm.
Thanks Bill and Gabe for joining the ride.
Gabe...you are an animal on that bike :hysterica

Bill, nice chatting with you and I hope to see you on the JORBA Tuesday ride 😀
and maybe Friday too!

I will be doing one of my little beginner rides this Saturday August 25th.
Wheels down at 9am.
The route 27 lot at 6 Mile.
Hope to see ya there!

Remember, this is a beginner/social pace. This is a great opportunity to get your friends and significant others out there that have wanted to bike, but have been...well nervous of riding with you because you are too fast and leave them behind 😉

No one gets dropped, rest whenever its needed, and we can redo sections.

Of course if everyone that shows up wants to step it up a little, we can do that (I will bring my light bike 😱 )

We will ride for as long or short as everyone wants.

Have fun!

I hope a few of you show up 😱

The family of 4 that was supposed to come bailed out

The weather is gonna be perfect!

When is the next ride?

every other saturday morning.

The next one will be at Allaire. However, if you would like a tour of 6Mile, Allaire, or Clayton, my husband and I can show you around if you are available weekday mornings.

feel free to PM me

figured i would chime in here - it's kinda relevant.

i was on vacation last week and had the opportunity to take my better half out on the bike. she hasn't ridden in about 6 or 7 years (her last ride was the bike section of a sprint tri before we had kids). obviously we headed straight to the sourlands for her first jump back on the mountain bike 😀

actually we went to six mile and did a canal side loop. she really liked the trails and pulled off all the bridges and even riding one of the optional elevated wood sections (her own choice, but i spotted her). it was the most fun i had on a ride in a while. she wants to get out again. not necessarily regularly or soon, but again.

she said the canal side of 6M is a good loop for a beginner. just long enough without getting to a torturing this-is-going-on-too-long length.

Beginner ride September 8th at Allaire 9am sharp

This is open to everyone! But the main goal is for the beginners to come out and have fun. If you have someone who wants to ride but has been skittish about going out for whatever reason, bring them! We go only as fast as the slowest rider and I have no problem with people wanting to redo sections.

I would rather see you walking your bike through the woods, than have you sitting on the couch!

So come out and have fun.

Any experienced riders who want to come out and lend support and/or advice are always welcome!

Feel free to contact me with questions.
I also do a beginner ride on a paved path every friday, if interested please PM me.

hmmm thought i commented on this via phone,,, so i guess ill do it again. Lindsey and i will be there 🙂 been a while since allaire so should be fun!!

Would love to go and I may be able to, if things work out. I rode there once a few weeks ago and it was tough for me, but I've been at this for a couple months. I still dont like sugar sand, my dirt bike went through it like an elephant on ice, my mtb did even worse. But it was still super fun. Hope to see you all there.
