Bearscat 2012

THere was some trail work done after you come left out of Budha at the bottom, but it looks like someone took a big truck thru and f'ed it all up.

This GPS is acurate:

If the conditions are good I think the course will be faster than expected.

Thanks Bill. So is the pipeline after Budha rideable or plain mud-a-bike? [I guess I'll figure out this weekend..]
Also - looks like you added a short loop before the Porcupine downhill that's not of the "official" map?
Did you all crash right next to a big rattler on Pines this time as well?

A little mud on double pond and old coal, as expected after all that rain last night, but everything else was AWESOME! I love all the additional singletrack. It took me 4:15 elapsed time at girly pace with little stopping. ... and that is just one lap. I'm not sure about doing 2 laps :drooling:

Anyone interested in a lap sunday morning? Im not racing but id like to learn the trails there anyway

rode a lap yesterday. fun and challenging course. pay attention because some of the trail turns/switches are subtle and you will go off cousre if not familiar with the place.

It's going to hurt, but really looking forward to this.

Bummed to not be attempting Tour Divide again this year, but the scat should be a nice warmup to my NUE season starting with the Lumberjack in a couple of week.

Here's hoping to dry weather and cool temps this Sunday 😎
