Buy organic and wash them well.
People think organic stuff doesn't use pesticides but they just use pesticides that are on an approved list. I forget the dEETs but there are some major loops holes as told to me by the owner of a local organic farm. One big one is water sources, if the farm as access to city water and use it to water their farm, it aint organic because of whats in the water.I heard organic produce has to use a lot more pesticides to compensate for the fact that organic pesticides don't work very well.
