Summary: I’m looking for a voluntary “Assistant Camera Person” to assist in covering a sporting event. The event is a mountain biking race to be held Saturday, Sept 17, 2011 in Stanhope New Jersey. The race starts at 9am but setup and coverage will be from 7:30 am – 12 Noon.
Project: The goal for this project is to capture the event on film to create a promotional video for future races.
Equipment: Canon Vixia, Canon 60D w/EF 24-105mm Lens, Go-Pro HD Heros, Zoom H4n Mobile 4-Track Audio Recorder, Glidecam, Tri-pods
Qualifications: This is an amateur video shoot so no professional videography background needed. However, must be a photo or videographer enthusiast with knowledge/understanding of how to use and handle the equipment. Mountain biking background not needed but should be comfortable working outdoors in a park/woods setting. Some knowledge of the editing process helpful but is not essential.
Compensation: Experience and full end credits.
Edit: Plus lunch and mileage - $0.50 per mile.
