Anybody into Amaro's? My wife is. So we stopped by Amor y Amargo Cocktail Bar in the East Village which serves nothing but cocktails with Amaro and bitters. Being old fashioned, that's what I ordered.

Any tequila fans? A few of my friends in DC are and one of them asked me to pick up this from a nearby Total Wine.
I'll see him in a few weeks and I'm guessing he'll open it then. I don't really know much about tequila but my teammates have spoiled me a bit as whenever I do have some it's usually on the higher end of choices.

We have half a dozen nice sipping tequilas that are my goto during the warmer months. Was at a wedding last night that only had below bottom shelf tequila. Really had to force them down until I no longer cared.

If you get out to Davis WV to ride, stop by Milo's Cafe in town. They have a pretty good selection of tequilas:
Meximodo in town has over 1000 tequilas. Guinness World Record and all. To bad the restaurant itself sucks.
