Jersey Spirits whiskey is awesome. Trying out the Crossroads tonight, I’ve also gotten their Patriots Trail bourbon which I do like a bit more. They make really excellent whiskey.
Any scotch/whisky drinkers in here?

I can’t even smell rum anymore after a series of embarrassing incidents in college so Angel envy is right out. I’ll look for the JS but always prefer rye.
So this you can taste? Very interesting.

I hope everyone is celebrating Bourbon Heritage Month.
In honor of our anniversary, I reached deep into the bourbon closet last night after dinner.
When I got this bottle, I vowed that I wouldn’t drink it unless someone was enjoying it with me.
Then covid happened, so it’s been sitting collecting dust.
Last night I made Mrs Manic have a pour with me (loophole!)
She enjoyed despite her preference for single malts.
Anyway, really great, even if MSRP might be over-valuated.
I need to compare the mash bill with my usual suspects- definitely spicier than my go-to’s, I’ll assume that’s rye, which I was thinking I didn’t like-
