Alpine Boy Scout camp trails.

I rode this area today. It was a great ride with many trails. Some overlap and but a worthwhile destination. It drys well and today conditions were very good. Any others hit that place up?

I love it their because I can put in decent miles and the mix of riding it offers is very unique to the area.

I live 15 mins away. It's a good trail system for locals and a nice place to take new riders. I usually go with my kids (11 &14) because it's not technical and rocky, like many others trails in the region. It's also fantastic on a fatbike when there is packed snow.

Word on the street is there are talks of expanding and adding more trails.

These are my local trails, maybe 20 min from my house and keep me plenty happy when time is tight. Glad to join a ride just shoot me a message.

I work in Northvale so Alpine is usually my go-to for a quick after work ride. Usually climb up Ruckman Rd. and come down on one of the trails to the right when you get up top, there are a few ways to get down. The One Percent to Wild Turkey is a fun ride, I'll lap that a few times. Sidewinder is pretty fun when it's not wet.

So funny, I never knew the names of the trails besides yellow and wild turkey. I just remember them as the first one, second one, third one off yellow ha! Opened TF and voila!

Ha, same here. Although at some point there was/is a "Wild Turkey" sign on a tree near the top of that trail.

I remember that. The first ride I ever did there years ago, only my 3rd or 4th mtb ride ever. I just assumed ok let’s try that trail. Learned quickly 🙂

Anyone have a decent route or even better a gps file of a route? Going to be in the area tomorrow so figured I'd check it out.

Where is a good place to park to ride Alpine? From creeping YT videos and scouting Google maps it looks like maybe just parking on the street on Anderson Rd is what most folks do. Not sure how the locals feel though and if there is maybe a better spot to park?
