Was there from 06:30 until 09:00 was hard and fast not too much snow on the trails but as soon as the sun comes out it will get soft....

as was mentioned, cold and fast this morning but as the thaw completes it will go from a 3 to a 2. It's already probably a 2 on the lower trails.

Got there too late yesterday as the temp got up to 35 as I pulled in. Didn't bother going anywhere low but even the higher grounds Snow was melting real fast and the exposed ground was soft. So a slow soft pedal out was called for. Don't think it'll be great today either (except maybe dawn patrol) so not going to bother.
Did the same exact thing on Saturday and agree 100%. Probably won't go back til mid week if no other wetness comes through. Also hoping that was the last leggings ride for a while.

Went around about 1/2 of the park, didn't see any wet spots.

@Frank @mike_243 @Mitch Any news on what caused the fire? There was a whole bunch of Orange along Hospital Road that was burned, but the trails themselves looked untouched.

Daughter is a forester and says Allaire is one of the most combustible areas of woodlands in NJ. Yea, that was the DEP doing a controlled burn.
