Already passed this info along, but sharing just as an advisory, since this could become a hazard before long. Hiking through for the first time in a while and I stumbled upon this on the blind trail. Someone decided to start hacking at one of the live trees on one of the tight gates on the trail. Based on the color of the wood in the cut I’m guessing it was done pretty recently. Almost halfway through at near bar height with something along the lines of a hatchet. Would suggest keeping alert around there since I imagine that will give eventually.

Yes, I saw this a few weeks ago. I left a not to friendly note on the tree to the AH who starting cutting it. People suck.
 
Park in reasonably good shape; did not ride River, Tiger, or past the Bog, so cannot comment.

If there is little-to-no rain tomorrow, it shouldn't deteriorate.
 
Rode two days here with the YDKSAMTB group. Hit all trails except tiger woods. Fantastic conditions. And who knew there are dinosaurs there!
