Across 24 - northern loop

Does anyone know if the trail with the sign, across RT 24, called the Northern Loop is part of Lewis Morris? Dang second climb always kicks my butt. Anyway, was just curious if anyone knew if it was part of LM or if it was part of Patriots Path. Thx.

It's part of the Lewis Morris yellow trail. It adds about a mile to the yellow loop if you ride it.

I think you might be confused. The northern loop is across the road from LM and is .85 of a mile long. I would say it's more of a side trail off of the patriots path. LM proper is the network on the lake side of 24.

On the LM trail map it marked as part of the yellow trail, the loop is .85 miles from the sign. But if you ride it from the lake side it adds about a mile.

As mentioned it's outside of Lewis Morris but it's still considered part of the large "Yellow" loop that goes around Lewis Morris.

From what the signs say, it's not part of patriot's path.
