A new velodrome is proposed to be built in the town of Hillsborough, NJ. So far, the plan is in the opening stages of being brought to the municipality's attention, but what is most important right now is that enough people actually show an interest in it so we're taken seriously at the meetings.
If any of you are interested, I urge you to follow this link: http://hillsborough-nj-velodrome.com/index.php, read about the proposal, and fill out the contact form so the organizers know who you are and can contact you to be in attendance at the hearings. The park space where this is planned to be built would also be an incredible venue for Cyclocross races and is also at the foot of Sourland Mountain, where many of us ride our mountain bikes.
