6 Mile Run Conditions

My handlebars are screwed. BTW whoever knocked down that tree on white, thank you.

that gate is much wider than it looks in the picture, and that is the narrowest one.
We are all about the fun, and not broken pinky fingers 😀

it rides downhill going from Jaques - not as much as the strava segment says, but it does have a dh bias.

ps - if it is the tree i'm thinking about, yeah....i'll be happier!

Mine just expired, thanks for the reminder and hard work. Any chance the park will be rideable on Friday PM? Know it's a ways out but it takes me a while to get up to speed

From what little I saw today on the Red and Orange today, the trails need several days to dry out. Interesting that everyone who rode past me while trimming this morning told me they had a reason why it was OK to ride today.

What was the best reason, and what was the worst reason?

Let's go with you decide the best/worst of all the reasons I had received today.......
Just to set the stage for the responses... I commented the trails are very wet today, it is not good for you to be riding on them today, you will be damaging the trails.

- We rode here last weekend and it was fine
- Don't worry, I will ride around the mud puddles
- I'm on my way out (only to pass me again 45 minutes later in the opposite direction headed back to the 27 lot)
- No response, just guilty silence and fast pass getaway
- I'm not leaving tire tracks ( riding skinny, slick tire hybrid bike)
- Really?
- Some comment that I could not hear because of hearing protection and trimmer motor noise, lips were moving and facial expression appeared very pissed off that I had something to say
- We do not ride fast, we will be careful

No one turned around, they continued riding on......
Education and positive communication hopefully will help in some small way.

Smh... all terrible replies. I wonder if any of them have done TM before.

Get this man a flamethrower....

Possibility we may attempt a group ride with our NICA team this Saturday... will keep an eye on this thread for updated conditions report
We may do the same. I was hoping to get there tomorrow afternoon also with my younger one. Will be a noon decision tomorrow though.

Anyone get out today? I really want to bring the bike to work tomorrow in the hopes I get done early enough to get in a ride.
