I grew up skiing at Shawnee too. Have many good memories there. Easy mountain, I’ve never had an issue with the staff, and it’s close. It’s where I take the kids now - we have a season pass there, pays for itself in a handful of trips.

CO trip plans have been made for 2/8 - 2/13. Tacking it onto the end of a work trip to San Antonio. Meeting up with 3 of 4 in this picture from '20 at Winter Park. Staying in Georgetown, CO off of I-70. Purchased a 4-day Ikon Pass to hit Winter Park, Copper and A-Basin for sure. There's talk of road tripping to Steamboat. Capping it off with watching the Super Bowl, hopefully a certain team that wears green will be there, and hopping on a red eye back to PHL and make it to work Monday morning.
Also have an organized group trip to Lake Placid for the 1st weekend in March that includes a 2 day ticket to Whiteface.

Going to notch day 2 of the season at Stratton tomorrow. Hopefully conditions will be passable… I’m pretty sure it was in the high 40s and raining throughout VT this week.

fun day at the canyons, the coverage is excellent. my legs are shot. Snowed all night, I don’t think we got the 16” that was forecasted, but it should be really good!

I got so lucky out here, just wish my legs could hold up better. Took my son and his buddy out here, we stayed at the canyons right next to the gondola. We got here about 11:30 Sat nite. We had a great day Sunday, the snow conditions were awesome, but no powder to speak of. It snowed all Sunday night, we had a few runs of completely untracked, AMAZING! Then it just kept snowing, yesterday it was mid thigh deep, just incredible.
