2025 NFL Discussion Thread

So, since most of here are well, well beyond the age range of an NFL player, let me ask you this. Is it not absolutely crazy to expect these guys to be grown-up/mature between the ages of 22-32? And I use 32 very liberally as that age is really over the hill in the NFL.

Every single person I know under the age of 26 is still on their parents insurance right now. We expect these guys at age 25 to act like they're 50 years old in maturity and growth. As I am now much older, I find the concept entirely ridiculous.

The vast majority of NFL players are still big kids. Of course most of them can't handle the pressure of Kansas City, let along a big market.
Good thing the Chargers just brought back (grandpa) Philip Rivers

Dude has 10 kids!! Guess he wanted to get out of the house a bit more.

No it was the colts! Which is fitting...I mean the Giants starting Daniel Jones lead to the rise of Tommy chicken wings as an NFL starter.....Colts starting DJ has brought old man rivers out of retirement....and if I had 10 kids running around my house, having my spleen crushed by a linebacker would seem relaxing.

It is amazing how totally desperate the NFL is for QB talent. You hear people complain when the starter gets hurt, then the backup comes in and is terrible....HOW CAN THE GM NOT HAVE A BETTER BACKUP???? There aren't 32 good starters....there aren't 15 good starters...forget the backups.

Yes it is. Especially right this second with Alonso signing with the Orioles and Mets fans losing their minds.
And Diaz leaving for the dodgers.....Thankfully the Yankess floated Devin Williams down the east river to them

Mets need to get better at this evil empire-ing
