2025 Monkey Knife Fight

Rode it last year - definitely one of the hardest rides I've ever done. Several of the climbs were much steeper than anything in CNJ area (wahoo showed 34% on Goat Hill but not sure how accurate that is). But they were definitely generous with the beer at the end, so that's a plus.

Just for the record, the bike was fine just brought the wrong gear. Did HoH no problem on a harder gear. But went easier with 42 x17 was still way too hard. 42 x 19 would have been fine. I couldn't even walk up Goat Hill in the middle, Omg.

Plus a big warning, Do Not Eat the Donuts and Cookies at the Aid Station. I had never done that before but was delirious at the time and did, worst thing I ever did.

We all used to do this shit on 23c road bikes. In fact I think I did it both on my road bike with 23c and cyclocross bike with 33c tires.

You were there with me at the start of our MKF but I don't remember seeing you at the finish? Did you do the 25 mile route?

I thought this sounded familiar and we did in fact do 55 not fun miles. HOH was better.
