....but the focus of the MCPC is curbing the growth of rogue trails.

The Tourne seems to have gotten more use from bikers over the past year due to meet up and other group rides. Just a friendly reminder to both new and regular riders of the park that the "trails" coming from the top down the middle of the gravel trail are still considered rouge in the eyes of the MCPC and should be avoided. Riding these lines can damage the equity Jorba has earned with the park and limit future projects. If you are with a group of riders that are unaware of the sensitivity around these trails, please spread the word. Many thanks.

The rouge trail down the middle has been covered up by branches and two seasons of leaves making the lines unnoticeable and unrideable.

I was riding in the Tourne today, and I saw that the Morris County Park people closed off the alternate trail on red heading up toward the top parking lot by the playground. This is the trail that had the log obstacle with a go around. There was some fencing and a bunch of logs and branches blocking off the trail, with a sign similar to the ones in Lewis Morris about staying on blazed trails. Lame.
