@rlb - i'm not sure the elites should have bonus points, unless it is there to 'take it away' from the mortals.....

Happy February.

As usual it’s a no ride Monday.

Moving time 2 hr 16 min

The usual commute and then ride with The Hubby after. Nothing spectacular, except I feel like crap. Demoralized because I didn’t win the BIYF lottery for Monday last week. How am I ever gonna catch @stb222 now?

Commute with extended ride home. In the rain. Did loops around the NASCAR track. Did you know NASCAR automatically spell checks to all capitals? I found that amusing.
While doing loops I found myself zoning out and forgetting how many loops I had done and thinking “well if I did one more” I felt like I was stuck in that loop. Like in that Star Trek The Next Generation where they got stuck in that time loop and repeated the same day for like 17 days. Anyway….

Got home took a long warm shower. Good thing I did too! Cause I went to Halters and you will never guess who I finally got to meet. Glad I wore my good pajama pants and “smart” jacket!

Guess yet?

….sound of crickets….

Ok I will tell ya! I finally got to meet @stb222

2/3 no ride
2/4 ride. Woke up to crappy weather, then the sun came out. And I got out of bed. Thought I had a picture, but I didn't. So I am going to share a picture that was shared with me. My ride did not look like this.
90 minutes; 19 miles of mix henry hudson trails and local roads. 100 feet of climbing !!!

I am getting really good at determining how long I have to ride to finish in half hour increments.

Jungle Habitat today. Last time I was hear I noticed a couple things missing on Warthog: 1) the gargoyle was not in his hollowed-out tree and 2) the obstacle consisting of 30+ logs had been dismantled. Well I found the gargoyle in a different spot. I didn't put it back since maybe this is some sort of ritual. The obstacle is still obliterated. Thank goodness I had actually managed to clear it a couple times before it got taken apart.

What is it about "the Tanks" that always says: "take a break here"?

A 10-second timer, selfie. Good thing the phone takes a burst of 10 pics so one of them looks like I know what I'm doing. This is on "Boulderdash"...

more commuting. more stupid clipless shoes on stupid flat pedals. i forgot to dry my stupid clipless shoes last night so they were wet this morning and stayed wet all day

felt like spring this morning, and on the way home roads were pretty much entirely dry. trails look snow free from the road which is exciting, but im sad i didnt really get to play in the snow. itl still be a few days before trails are rideable, and its supposed to snain again tomorrow which isnt helping

least i dont have to ride on the road anymore with all those cretins
