I have one, using it for dropping instead of rising, but still....catch is I'm w/o my ride for a couple of weeks...IF you're still looking middle/end of month hit me up.Anyone happen to have one of these hanging around that they are willing to lend me? I'm looking for a riser for 2" receiver hitch with a 3.5"-5.5" rise to see if it'll work for what I need it to do before going out and buying one. TIA.
No rush, I can wait. How much of a rise/drop is it? Where are you located?I have one, using it for dropping instead of rising, but still....catch is I'm w/o my ride for a couple of weeks...IF you're still looking middle/end of month hit me up.
don’t recall, have had it a few years, MartinsvilleNo rush, I can wait. How much of a rise/drop is it? Where are you located?
Cool, you're on my way home from work. When ever it's ready just let me know and I'll swing by. Thanks.don’t recall, have had it a few years, Martinsville
U’ll probably have to remind me, by the time I get the truck back most likely will forgetCool, you're on my way home from work. When ever it's ready just let me know and I'll swing by. Thanks.
Yeah, I need it to clear the parking sensors on the rear bumper. Right now the tray of the bike rack is in the way of the sensors and when I put it in reverse I get that annoying warning sound, warning lights flash on the dash and the entertainment screen goes crazy. So I'm trying to see if I can raise it enough so it's above the sensors but not too high that it prevents the tailgate from opening. It has a side opening tailgate rather than a lift up one.I have one in Hackettstown. I got it to clear my rear door spare tire and raise the rack for better departure angle. It weighs almost as much as my bike rack and is built for the battlefield (e.g. much more then my bikes will give it. Search on Amazon, there are some quality products there that provide good technical info.

Can you turn the sensors OFF when you haul bikes? Most vehicles have this option in the infotainment thingy…Yeah, I need it to clear the parking sensors on the rear bumper. Yes but that turns the front and corner ones off too and I don't want to do that. I'd rather deal with it than to not have it at all.Can you turn the sensors OFF when you haul bikes? Most vehicles have this option in the infotainment thingy…
Try it for a few days. I just bought a 2025 vehicle and the trim level i wanted doesn't have parking sensors. It actually makes my life simpler and I can still park!Yes but that turns the front and corner ones off too and I don't want to do that. I'd rather deal with it than to not have it at all.
I totally hear what you're saying. I've been driving for over 40 years and never had any issues parking, maneuvering or turning in tight spaces. This is the first vehicle with parking sensors and unfortunately I've gotten lazy and come to rely on them but the beeping is driving me crazy. My other vehicles don't have the sensors and I still drive them just fine. I'll turn it off and give it a go.Try it for a few days. I do have the 4-pin hooked up for the brake/turn signal lights I have mounted to the bike rack. Maybe it only works when the 7-pin is hooked up. I'll have to go to the settings and play around. I hope I don't mess up other settings in the process.see if you can tell it there is a trailer - it may disable the rear main then.
my car detects it when the lights are hooked up, otherwise same as you.
Awesome. I'll let you know if I still need it. Thanks.I think I have one in West Orange if it helps
