Surf most certainly does not suck! (Cross posted in “Tell me where you rode today”)

Had it checked this morning at Mazda. Battery checked out as fine. So perhaps it had to do with the conditions at the time I had it tested at my indy (cold night, brief drive) 🤷‍♂️. Service advisor says these batteries are typically good for 4 years. So we’ll see.

What has me puzzled is why it’s potentially needing to be replaced after only 28 months since new abt 32k miles of 50/50 highway/city. Does that seem feasible? In comparison, my Xterra battery lasted 5 years at a time before I sold it last year. My M’s battery is 10 years old at 48k miles...

Heading to VT next weekend so to be safe I’ll have the dealer check it this week.

Yep he wasn’t sure of the battery type so they tested it both ways. I believe the Mazda batteries are flood

Interesting. When I got my blue vanity plates in 1987, you were only given 6 1/2 spaces. Couldn’t do 7 characters. NJ must have expanded them to 7 just before the blue plates were retired a few years later.

Perhaps if we kept a copy of the signboard pic above on our phones, we could show the complainers that the rules - as posted - dont specifically prohibit bikes unless they are on paved trails. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I’ve been meaning to get there again for a while. Such incredible terrain and a fair amount of wide blues for carving and tree runs for fun. Maybe you’ll go back this season? Last time we had three pow days and 3 bluebird. One pow day it was over my boot cuffs🏂
