    Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

Tree down on Rocky Pt. in Hartshorne. Location is about 100 yds. in from the western trailhead (the way you begin a “counter-clockwise” loop of the section). Everything else is clear in both parks.

    Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

Post-storm conditions report: We’re good. I rode everything in both parks, and no trails with fallen trees. Just the expected leaf & twig litter. Big props to @pooriggy , @don , @knobbyhead , and everyone putting in the work on these trails. Your efforts are much appreciated.

    The wayback machine….

I’ve kept this musette in use for 25 years. I’m sure I have some other doo-dad mementos tucked away from other years I did the event.

Yes, I am a clydesdale, but the brakes should still be better

I’ll throw in another vote for a 200mm front rotor.

    Gas powered bikes?

Inside Moto Coffee Machine, Hudson, NY. All for sale. Cafe and motorcycle shop in the same space. Very Ducati-focused, but there’s usually something BMW/Moto Guzzi/Triumph for sale as well, along with some nicely-presented, older Japanese bikes. Mrs.G. & I have been going there for 10-ish...

    Lost and Found

Lost somewhere in Allaire: POC Crave glasses. Dark blue frame/clear lens. Was going through my gear and realized they’re not in my bag. I’d put them in an open pocket on my hip pack during my most recent ride, and they must have ejected. I only rode Hospital Rd. side that day, so they won’t be...

    Camp Cromwell property

The beekeeper suits and continued mentions of stings aren’t filling me with enthusiasm, as much as I would like to check out all of the awesome trail work.

    Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

Back out there this morning. The fallen tree on Rocky Point has been cut. Both parks are good to go. Super-dry and loose, though.

    Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

Did my typical ride of both parks this morning. Big fallen tree on Rocky Point, not far from the bottom of the “Devil’s Elbow”. I came at it from the uphill direction, so no big deal, but it might catch riders off guard when they’re coming down the hill, at speed.

This Day in History (Post up past events relative to the current date)

Talk about a trip down Amnesia Alley. Mrs. G & I were in Sea Isle City this week, and the pre-storm exodus from the beach towns was its own sort of adventure. I can’t help with Phillies guy’s ID.

This Day in History (Post up past events relative to the current date)

For those of you not already aware, here’s what Eric and Dave did (with another drummer) in 1994 while Perry and Stephen were doing Porno For Pyros. I was (still am) a huge fan of this record from the get-go.

    Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

Friends of mine found the injured rider, called for EMS assistance and stayed with him until he was attended to. The preliminary diagnosis was broken ribs and a collapsed lung. I happened to be riding solo in Huber when all of this was going down, so I heard/saw the EMS vehicle heading to Red...
