For those of you who are Stephen King-curious, I highly recommend Night Shift, King’s first published collection of short stories. I’m pretty sure I’ve already mentioned this book around these parts, however many years ago.

I haven’t been in any kind of “bike racing” form since 2018, but this sort of thing is still very much in my blood, and I enjoyed reading your recap.
I've ridden a zillion hours of fixed gear on rollers, but it never occurred to me to put the fixed gear on a trainer.
It totally makes sense, now that I'm thinking about it.

Location is about 100 yds. in from the western trailhead (the way you begin a “counter-clockwise” loop of the section).
Everything else is clear in both parks.
