    “Pro’s” tech

I love me some SRAM. If only they could figure out brakes.

    “Pro’s” tech

I’m saying custom machined triple clamps, custom engine covers, u know…unobtanium.

    “Pro’s” tech

I understand that. I am saying they are riding production or pre production products. The stuff Moto gp and mxgp you will never see on a production bike.

Hey you hydraulics geeks, probably the metal people too.

Correct. As someone who repairs all types of metal structures, fabrications and bores, 90% of the time you can get to the root of the problem whether it's a crack, bend or whatever.

    “Pro’s” tech

These have been around for about 3-4 years now on Nino's bike.

    “Pro’s” tech

I agree to an extent but coming from the motorized 2 wheel side I'll say that factory mtb team tech is no where near as custom as the stuff you see in Moto gp or mxgp. They use a ton of modified frames and fully custom made everything. Factory level bicycles have a ton of stock components that...

Hey you hydraulics geeks, probably the metal people too.

Enjoy wherever you are going. I just like to point out that being an engineer doesn't make you smart, the best or designer of the best. The world is full of design flaws.

Hey you hydraulics geeks, probably the metal people too.

Great. I fix this stiff that’s poorly engineered for a living. Some people don’t want to do the right thing so you need to offer options. The right thing to do is remove old bushing, measure ID of cylinder end as well as width. Then have a new bushing made up that’s .002..004 over on od and...

Hey you hydraulics geeks, probably the metal people too.

That would just be the rod end or heim joint. Just peen the crap out of the inside of the bushing.

Hey you hydraulics geeks, probably the metal people too.

Not really anywhere near the cylinder. Just peen the inside of the bushing.

Hey you hydraulics geeks, probably the metal people too.

If that is the bushing that is pressed into the steering cylinder, then OD absolutely is important. Personally, I would take the old one out if it taps out but it is probably pressed fit if you want the lazy man’s way to do it just pull the bolt, drop the cylinder a bit and peen the crap out of...

    Sobriety- Alcohol vs ice cream?

Maybe not but also maybe. Is it random that my doctor said I had high protein levels in my kidneys when I did my last bloodwork or is this from all of the cycling drinks that I “burn off “?

    Sobriety- Alcohol vs ice cream?

So like what a cyclist consumes 😂

    Sobriety- Alcohol vs ice cream?

I don’t have the answer for you, but I can guarantee you there are no benefits to it.

    Sobriety- Alcohol vs ice cream?

I'm recently sober. About 3 weeks in. I've drank for a long time and until recently I never had a problem with it. My dr however pointed out that alcohol is poison. He obviously put an asterisk on it but it made me realize I am slowly damaging my body(heart and liver most directly). With that...

Try combining with a gel. You can handle more carbs that when when the source is different.

Most races are lost for a simple reason like this. We put all the planning into our skills, bike prep etc but forget that the race is an hour longer than you prepared for.

    Great deal! Specialized Crux S-works

For anyone looking https://www.specialized.com/us/en/s-works-crux/p/205810?color=336182-205810 I probably overpaid for my Crux Pro and now they have the Sworks for almost the same price. I like this bike a lot. Wish I had waited a couple months now.

Politics. Do we hold a grudge?

Right. There is too much side choosing. You need your view but combine it a bit with what some of the other side needs and meet in the middle. Now you literally have POTUS on twitter bathmouthing all republicans. I’d give anything to have an Obama or Clinton back.
