All, Trying to get out more skiing but a lack of people to ski with. I usually go with my buddy for a week to Vermont or New Hampshire each year but looking like that is not in the cards for him this year. Any local ski clubs or groups I could hook up with?

Can’t speak from yesterday but generally i find the Allamuchy parks drain pretty well. You may see a couple of puddles but yesterday wasn’t really bad. The worst thing will be the wet roots that run across the trails get slippery. Both the school entrance and the 7-11 entrance were passable...

Just to circle back. Did orange all the way up to the top as the warm up. Not completely brutal but there were one or two streams and a pretty narly rock face close to the top i had to walk up the top section. Rouge was awesome back down to the car, even took a hard spill and slid about 5...

Is that the parking lot (street) with the metal fence you ride through by Tilcon? Do you know the name of that trail that connects the two areas. If it is tough i’d love to try it.

I am pretty local to Deer Park and saw the road close about 3 weeks ago. I got in touch with Steven State Park and they told me the road was closed as it is dangerous to drive due to all the potholes (which have really always been there). The road is closed until repaved but they could not...
